FEBRUARY ADULT WORKSHOPS
Do you fancy learning how to create the following cake with matching cupcakes, then Im pleased to let you know you can if you come to one of my workshops which I will be running in February 2013
What will be included, learning to cover an 8" dummy cake, which you get to take home and can practice on time and time again, take home 6 decorated matching yummy vanilla cupcakes with little tea cups and saucers on top all modelled by you, learn how to emboss fondant, pipe buttercream, colour fondant, cover cake boards, attach ribbon to cake boards, make your own modelling paste, colouring modelling paste, using marshmallow and rice krispies to make some models, painting, making all the decorations as per the picture, colours may vary. If there is time I will demonstrate how to crumb coat a real cake because it needs to set it would take too long for you all to use a real cake hence why a dummy will be used.
All equipment and ingredients will be supplied and packaging to take your creations home in. There will also be a fact sheet to explain what you have learnt and explain how you would crumb coat and fill a real 8" cake in preparation for icing so you can try it out for real when you get home.
The course will run for approximately 4 hours, there will be tea, coffee and water available together with homemade cookies, there will be an half hour break for lunch, to which you will be required to bring a light lunch with you.
The groups will be in nice small groups of four so places are limited but it will enable you all to be able to see and get one on one help.
The cost for all this will be £85.00 and an £10.00 deposit is required to book your place which is non-refundable, Cakes by Nina reserves the right to cancel a class at anytime which will be refundable. This can be paid via secure paypal under payment (just use the first option) tab or drop me an email and I will forward address, no place will be confirmed until the initial booking fee is paid.
